Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter Review!

Hey guys!
So I'm here with my promised review of Soap and Glory's The Righteous Butter! But first I just wanted to show you guys my boots! I know this is a beauty blog and all, but I have really been loving these boots and they have got me all the way through the winter, snow and all, and I really love them, so just thought I'd share with you all! They were only £20 (plus my mum bought them for me so they cost me nothing) and are perhaps one of the best buys I've made in a long time! I love them and will definitely be keeping them to wear next year too!

Anyways, now I've got that little current love out of the way, it's onto the Soap and Glory, another little love of mine!

I've had ridiculously dry skin recently, after all the cold of winter, and so, I have turned to Soap and Glory's The Righteous Butter to help get me through!

I have never actually bought this for myself, the main big pot I have is shared with my sister from the huge Soap and Glory gift set we got for christmas and the little pots are from other little gift sets I've recieved, so I'm not actually sure how much it is, but to be honest though, I'm not sure I want to know because I'm pretty sure it's going to be expensive, but it is very good.

I love the packaging of Soap and Glory products - It's all very well done and I love the classic but modern look that the brand has, so packaging is a big thumbs up!

Then the smell, ahhh! The smell! I absolutely love the Soap and Glory scent, and when you put the body butter on you really do end up stinking of it, so make sure you do like the scent! But I love it!
And then, the most important bit, the actual product. Again, I love it! It's a really indulging, luxurious, thick, creamy and just gorgeous body butter. It soaks in quickly and unlike some other body butters or lotions which may still do good, it really feels like it does good too! It's one of the best body butters I have ever used and really does moisturise your skin so well! You can put it on, then put your clothes on within minutes because it soaks in so quickly, but it still keeps your skin moisturised for the whole day and you can really feel it moisturising your skin! It's absolutely amazing! It's definitely the best feeling moisturiser I've ever used although I can't actually say it's the most moisturising because I actually tried a new moisturiser the other day which was even more moisturising! I'll be doing a post on that moisturiser soon too so watch out for that to find out what it is!

But anyways, back to Soap and Glory, The Righteous Butter really is amazing and definitely deserves the reputation it has as an amazing moisturiser! It's certainly a gorgeous treat for your skin! However, although I'm not sure exactly how much it is, I do know that it is relatively expensive, I think a big tub is about £10, and its hardly ever on offer, but if you are looking to spend that much on a moisturiser, this is definitely worth it! So, I am most definitely recommending it to anyone of you reading this who wants to treat yourself and your skin!

Oh, and watch out for the upcoming post that I will do soon on that mystery Body Butter which is even more moisturising than the famous Soap and Glory!

Radox Moisturise Shower Therapy Review!

Hi guys!
So unfortunately my camera is still not fixed or replaced so for the moment I'm either going to have quite bad photos, or old ones which I took previously before it broke - sorry guys!

Today, I thought I'd do a review of the Radox Shower Therapy Shower Gel (because I have a picture of it and also because its been my shower gel of choice recently).

To start with this shower gel looks really simple, and not like anything special, but once you use it it's actually really good!

It is only a cheap shower gel, I think Boots have these pretty much permanantly on half price at £1, and I'm pretty sure they're always a pound in supermarkets like ASDA, so it isn't the most indulging shower gel, if you want something like that then you would go for a more expensive Radox gel, or to another brand like Lush or Rituals. However, as an everyday shower gel, this is gorgeous!

The smell is nice, fresh and clean. It isn't a particularly strong scent, it's just a soft, clean smell which is nice and refreshing for everyday. It's not anything special, but I find it quite a comforting smell and I think it is quite a difficult scent to dislike because it's just one of those smells that's quite neutral, but still nice.

The shower gel itself is also just really lovely! Its lovely and creamy and soft and is just really pleasant! It's not as indulging as the more expensive brands, such as Rituals for example, but as an everyday shower gel it's pretty darn good!

I'm not sure about the moisturising aspect of this shower gel, because I have ridiculously dry skin at the moment and have been slavering myself in Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter (I'm going to try and grab some photos of that and put a review up in the next week) all the time recently to try and help so I haven't really been able to tell whether this has been helping too, but all the same, even if it isn't really that moisturising, it's still a good product!

So, overall, I LOVE this product! It's a total bargain at £1, especially when you compare it to other shower gels like Dove for example which, when you compare the cost per 100ml it is more than half the price of on the Boots website when its at £1. Plus, the quality is great and it is just a really lovely shower gel! I have to say - I am impressed! I definitely think I will be purchasing this product in the future, and I think it might even become my new everyday shower gel of choice - definitely recommending it!

Hope you like this review guys!

Valentine's Day Nail Design!

Hey guys!

Hope you all of you from the UK enjoyed the snow here, whilst it lasted! I absolutely adore snow, its my favourite weather despite it being very, very cold.

Also, Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Valentine's Day doesnt really bother me as 'special' days go, but its still as good an excuse as any to get going with a good nail design!

Unfortunately, my new camera which I got for Christmas has broke :( so for now, I have to go back to using the old camera so sorry guys, but these photos aren't great, at all. :L Sorry!

But hopefully you can see okay from the photos and hopefully it'll give you some inspiration for your nails for this evening! I decided to do cupid on one thumb and some lips on the other thumb then hearts all over the fingers. Hope you like!

So, I hope you liked my nail designs, and I hope you all have great evenings with your valentines, friends, family or whoever you might be spending your evening with!

It's a Lush Life: Lush Party!

Hi guys, been a while but I have been very busy working on my Silver Arts Award, which i have now completed (finally!) and going out in the lovely, lovely snow!

So, a couple of weeks ago I had a birthday party at Lush. It was great fun and the staff are really amazing. Basically, the party is a 'lock in' in the shop with your friends, and you get a tour of the store and get to take part in some activities as well as getting some treats too!

I invited about 10 of my friends and we were all given a great tour of the shop, including trying out any of the products that we wanted to, such as testing out the face masks and creams, we were able to make our own 'Dorothy' Bubble bars (there's a picture of my slightly squished attempt further down the page!) and able to mess around too, with stuff like 'jelly throwing' where we had a competiton throwing the Lush Sweetie Pie jelly!

You can personalise the party to what you want to do, and they do different packages for different ages. It is a really good and fun thing to do though because the staff are really, really great and its not often you are able to get to try so many of the products. Also, you get to take home the bubble bar you make as well as a little treat, which was some Angels Delight soap in my case, and you get to buy any products you might want to.

Also, as a treat for the person who's birthday it is (in this case mine!) they get a Lush Legends box too!
Here's some pictures of what I got in the box and from the party:
